Minnesota Business Magazine 100 Best Companies to work for

MINNEAPOLIS, March 9, 2017—Logistics Planning Services (LPS) announced today that it was recognized by Minnesota Business Magazine as a 2017 Top 100 Best Companies to Work For winner.

The 100 winning companies are determined by the resulting scores of an anonymous online questionnaire filled out by employees to determine which companies in Minnesota excel in the areas of work environment, employee benefits, and overall employee happiness.

The family logistics company was incorporated in 1987 when founder Larry Hall began operations in Woodbury, Minn. Not that long afterward, Hall’s wife, Pamela Hall, joined the firm to create a foundation for what would become the company’s mission and core values.

LPS evolved into a business that gives back to the communities in which it operates. Also, Pamela Hall’s work helped create a company culture that gave its employees a chance to do much more for charitable causes.

“This survey is very much a report card and pulse on our performance as a company to create and sustain a positive workplace culture,” says CEO Kirsten Hall. “We have always preached that there is a direct link between employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and profitability. Today we can all feel proud that our employees have responded in kind, proving that the “link” at LPS is healthy and moving in the right direction!”
